The experience of sitting on diets is such that I would hardly voluntarily go to this torture. If not for one "but": I personally saw the results of a two-week session on a "Japanese" diet. Just like in the magazine: "before" and "after". However, the principle of beauty and health works perhaps best.

Why the diet is called Japanese is hard to say - half of the food recommended for eating is foreign to Japan. According to legend, the diet was developed by experts at the Japanese clinic "Yaeks", but no further traces of this office were found on the English-speaking Internet.

Lyrical sentimental deviation

I have to say that I admire the courage of people who are able to find the weight loss recipe that is available online and try it right on their own. I myself am wary of diet. Life brought me together with them twice.

The first time - in severe form when I was in the mountains I got some kind of stomach infection and for three weeks at an altitude of 3000 meters I simply could not eat: everything immediately asked to come back. The second time was when I decided to limit my diet to 1000 calories a day. For almost a month, my diet consisted of morning coffee with ice cream, which is handy for lunch, and frozen vegetables for dinner. I learned that diet should be balanced much later.

So the first question I asked was: How balanced is the Japanese diet? "More or less, but there are not enough amino acids, " replied a biochemist friend, "you will be evil - horror with a gun". His fear of my hypothetical hypocrisy did not materialize. For the first two days, his body was suppressed by the sudden disappearance of normal food. And when he realized that this was for a long time, but not forever, he became silent and indifferent.

Charm and disappointment

As it happens through each experiment for myself, I have compiled a list of charms and disappointments. Or rather the discomfort and pleasure of the diet.

Discomfort # 1

The diet is strict. Because according to its authors, it is designed to modify metabolism. Therefore, there is the slightest deviation from the course (even croutons, even apples) - and the expected effect is not guaranteed. And this is what is expected: to understand 5 - 8 kilos and weight loss in the future.

Discomfort # 2

It's very hard to come to the business dinner and ask for me flirting, thanks, two hard-boiled eggs and 200 grams of grated carrots. Such requests are usually not met. Therefore, you must have all the provisions with you in your bag. And, most likely, prepared a diet the day before.

Fun number 1

13 days of Japanese diet will cost you about 2 times less than a daily business meal or lunch at work. And even more so - buying food for the home.

Fun number 2

In general, it is better not to start a strict diet if at least half of the food it consists of is uncomfortable for you. And since I eat with great enthusiasm in "normal life" and fish and boiled beef and carrots and kefir and cabbage, it was true to say happy to see them on my table.

Many people ask questions about drinking coffee every morning - is not it harmful? If you have heart disease or high blood pressure, coffee can have a bad effect. And before you start on a Japanese diet, you should consult your doctor.

A whole range of perception

The first two days of the diet caught my eye: as soon as I closed my eyes, a thin-baked pancake appeared in front of my inner gaze and automatically rolled into a tube. Then someone kindly dipped it in strawberry jam and put it on my face. There were no hallucinations. After chasing me for two days, the pancake landed behind.

Petrifying indifference and a calm attitude to the culinary delights that have stood to this day. This does not mean that I will strongly refuse if I am offered to try something tasty. But the nervousness from "there is so much food there" is no longer visible.

I do not throw so much - only 4 kilos but the weight does not increase again. I do not know who to thank for this: the developer of the Japanese diet or myself - for doing sports twice a week. The only detail: during the diet you become noticeably sick and towards the end it becomes difficult to open an unopened bottle of mineral water. But then strength recovered quickly.

Dinner:100 grams of boiled beef, a glass of kefir.

Day 3

Breakfast:black coffee, puff pastry horn.

Dinner:large fried zucchini in vegetable oil.

Dinner:2 hard-boiled eggs, 200 grams of boiled beef, fresh cabbage salad with vegetable oil.

Day 4

Breakfast:black coffee.

Dinner:1 raw egg, 3 large boiled carrots with vegetable oil, 15 grams of hard cheese.

Dinner:fruit.

Day 5

Breakfast:raw carrots with lemon juice.

Dinner:fried or boiled fish, a glass of tomato juice.

Dinner:fruit.

Day 6

Breakfast:black coffee.

Dinner:half-cooked chicken, fresh cabbage or carrot salad.

Dinner:2 hard-boiled eggs, a glass of raw carrots with vegetable oil.

Day 7

Breakfast:te.

Dinner:200 grams of boiled beef, fruit.

Dinner: what you want to get from dinner, except the 3rd day (boiled crab can be used).

Day 8

Between meals, you can drink mineral water or just boiled water without restrictions. And - I remind you - never deviate from a particular diet.
